• Case Studies

I hope you will read through these examples and appreciate the endless possible applications and Client benefits of PEAT processing.

  • Inner Growth/Outer Progress
Everyone who experiences PEAT learns something new about themself, whether they came to clear a trauma or attain a goal. Understanding, capacity to understand, knowledge and wisdom all increase as consciousness expands. Knowing oneself is a worthy task, for we are the drops of the Ocean. To learn about oneself as the drop, one gains knowledge of the Ocean.

    Inner Child Work
Remember the wonder and awe that was so prevalent, so accessible as a child? Using the PEAT processes, one can again access that child within, and lovingly assist the release of past trauma. The most innocent one was not jaded by harshness and can heal to the natural state of trust and love. Processing can help you regain contact with your inner child, so that once again, you can access the gifts, the strengths, and again appreciate from that uncomplicated perspective.

OK to be Seen, Unsafe to be Heard
A man whose work required public speaking wanted to process the intense anxiety he experieinced when called upon to speak in front of a group. Interestingly several incidences surfaced, some he recognized as early childhood trauma at the hands of a domineering threatening parent. It was ok to be in the room as long as he did not speak. Other memories that also surfaced he felt to belong to an alternative time line where speaking out had cost him his life. In processing, he gained confidence that he was no longer the helpless obedient child and it was time for him to step into his adulthood and speak his mind. Additionally, he was able to process the alternate experience and feel the ripple effect of wisdom gained and applied here.

Secure in Self, Secure in Job, Despite Painful Childhood
A talented woman had experienced her father’s sexual abuse until she left home. Leaving home, she set out to create the future she wanted for herself. She worked hard and put herself through college. Once employed, she was loyal and accommodating. Her resistance to learning a new computer system surfaced her deep seated lack of self esteem, her reluctance to excel, her identity with being “less than” and her desire “not to remember”. Methodical PEAT processing released from her the pain, the guilt, the shame and the low self appreciation. She unfolded for herself recognition of her tremendous patience, forbearance, ability to lead and to learn new skills.

    Processing as TEAM
One of the applications of PEAT processing is the ability to process as a collective. If you have a team with a goal or challenge, it is possible to process “as the group”. All energy has a level of awareness. The group consciousness has a different purpose, agenda and challenge than the individuals that comprise it. One or several members can process for the needs of the group.

    Verbal Assault
When someone is verbally assaulting to another, the impact of the blast can last a lifetime. Damage to self esteem, future confidence and ability to cope maybe impacted. Additionally, there may be damage in the energetic field, and often if one examines themelf after such an attack, they can locate a “hole” they feel after the impact. By removing the emotional charge, one can then also process from the body’s point of view, addressing the cellular memory of the experience.

    Career Challenges and Emotional Issues
Everyone in the working world must walk that tightrope of career and personal identity. For many this can be a challenge as beliefs about self identity and experiences from the past influence job performance. Education, skill and experience can be highlighted when the overall sense of self is well integrated. Freeing ourselves of limiting beliefs, releasing hurt, shame and guilt from the past, constitutes personal work that also has career benefits. Success is not limited to the arena of work or measured by income and rank. Often a person will find increased joy, increased capacity, increased income in the work they are already engaged in, simply by processing the emotional burden they carry.

To Do List, Staying Busy to Avoid Emotional Pain
How many of us stay overly occupied as a way to avoid what is really happening for us? Certainly this has a positive aspect as well, the ability to keep going despite all odds. A client with the Primes of “Being” and “Doing” realized it was more than simply an avoidance of current painful circumstances. Previously afraid to be perceived as unproductive, she busied herself with contact activity. Alternatively, she would slip into states where she wanted contact with no one, and did nothing. Finding her Primes, she felt at peace to enjoy both aspects of herself, free of guilt and shame. She understood what she knew to be true, that to stay in balance she needed the down time. She then learned to schedule into her busy life, moments set aside to “just be”.

A Man Finds Freedom in His Primes-All and Nothing
A man processes to the point of achieving “Primes Neutralization” His Primes are “All” and “Nothing”. Suddenly his whole life journey, his joys, his sorrows, his compulsions and desires, all make sense. He experiences that transcendent state, where in perfect integration, they are experienced as the same phenomena. With the experiential knowing, he gives up the compulsive battle and learn to work with both polar opposites, finding freedom enjoying life in the balance.

    Single Parenthood and Surrogate Processing
A single Mom, juggles the busy schedules of her children with the demands of her career. Using surrogate processing, she helps clear issues for her children, who as teenagers do not always share with her their troubles. She shared that their lives were still busy, but the issues they now had to cope with seemed manageable.

    Motherhood, Widowhood and Livelihood
An expectant young Mother, her life full of her pregnancy and the joy of new beginnings, must cope with the death of her husband and the care of her child. Processing what is, she comes to terms with her present life, and the long buried grief that has so painfully resurfaced with the death of her husband and the sense of abandonment that followed.

Store Owner Stays Strong Despite Attack
A strong, talented independent woman must proceed with the demanding needs of opening her next successful franchise store. Her life took an unexpected turn when her building’s security was breached and her personal safety threatened. The post trauma of the attack began to dampen her enthusiasm and her willingness to take risks. Processing into her strengths, she again was firm in her project and in her sense of self.

    Phobias and Unwarranted Fears
Often we have an experience that then generalizes to all experience. A dog may bite us and then we become frightened of all dogs. Processing the emotions of the experience removes the “charge” and allows the individual the freedom to again choose and avoid activities at will rather than being triggered into a survival reaction. A man survived a traffic accident, but was not able to be in a car afterward without severe panic attacks. Processing the incident, he was able again to ride and drive, even at high speeds and in highway traffic.

    Writer’s Block
A professional career woman works at night writing plays. Writer’s Block throws her into frustration as she leaves her love of writing to attend to her “day” job. Processing reveals she is at odds with her writing because she wants to begin writing to a wider audience, and until now has confined herself to writing for her local religious community. Afer processing, she realizes her gifts are from God and she should express them and become the playwright she dreams of being. To do less is not in accord with the gift itself.

A Man Throws His Dart Team’s Score
Often a Client is aware they are somehow at cause but that knowledge does not help them achieve their goal. Using Deep PEAT we are able to follow the “chain of content” to underlying trauma and belief systems. In the following account, a man was a member of a professional dart team. Often, at the last moment, he was the cause of a throw that would cost his team the win in a tournament.

Despite his ability and his conscious intention to be an excellent team member, he self sabotaged both himself and his team’s wins. Using Deep PEAT, within minutes, a memory surfaced of him as a small child, learning to play table billiards with his Father. As we processed the memory of him playing pool, he remembered his Father would let him win. A deep realization came upon him that deep down, he had a belief that when you are “really the big guy, you let the little guy win”.

Simultaneously he understood that in this win/no win dichotomy, his position to give up the dart game to favor the opposing team, was in fact a disservice to them. He was failing to provide them a worthy opponent, thereby cheating everyone of the opportunity to increase their skills.
